I know Trump will likely announce tomorrow, but his campaign will fizzle due to the lack of support, and him being controversial among the electorate.

Ron should wait for at least a year. I think he will easily beat Trump in the primary.
Sure Trump base will be upset with Ron for a while, but eventually, when given the option between him and Biden, they will all coalesce around Ron and push him to victory.

I still can't understand why Ron nuthangers think he's running in '24. It actually makes zero sense for him politically or from a timing standpoint, even if Trump came out and said he wasn't running.

If Desantis accepts the support of Ryan, the Bush family and Mitch McConnell and the same woke companies that he rails against, it's safe to say he peaked last Tuesday.

If he shuns that crowd and stands with MAGA, he can have it all one day.

His choice will tell you all you need to know.

Won't matter because Trump's sycophants will take their ball and go home on election day.

About a year.

I expect a spirited primary.

Yeah, I think he should just lay low this time around and look toward 2028.

About a year, maybe October? He needs to continue to have the positive results he’s displayed since he took office to carry momentum.

Every time Trump rails against him he just needs to smile and say “that’s his opinion, everyone can have one, they just don’t have to be right”

Which will probably piss off Trump even more, which will cost him.

How many threads are you going to make before you realize every one of them are terribly wrong?

If you guys haven't figured out how Trump operates yet, you never will. Trump's comments about DeSantis were calculated, like everything else he does. He's going to end up making fools out of all you GOPE'rs.

After the 2024 election. Trump will run, so DeSantis should let him have all the spotlight he can get.

If they run against each other it will doom the GOP even further.

Would be a huge "frick you" to his Floridian constituents who want him to focus on governing them and continue fighting wokeness.

If he was the governor of nc, and he was actually getting shite done and making nc better... I'd want him to continue.. and be governor as long as possible.

I don't think it would. We love "Free Florida" and wish the same for the US.

And it would doom DeSantis' political career too.
