He’s signed $18T in deals to onshore jobs. Those factories are still in the planning and preconstruction phase because massive projects like that take time.

Exactly what did you think he was going to do outside of banning H1Bs which I agree has been a miss that was going to fix the job market for young men in some year period?

Absent handouts (which would’ve caused more debt and inflation) economies the size of the US don’t flip overnight.

If there is WWIII in less than a year then commerce is not on the table. Can you even begin to imagine the sheer volume of diplomacy needed to fix relationships around the world after 4 years of the US not being taken seriously.

Morons like you will be eating your words in less than 2 years when American manufacturing is booming.

A President cannot just snap his fingers and make the job market and economy stabilize. Alot of things have been put into motion.

GN is GN and I don’t know what will happen tonight

But it’s true that Trump is dragging feet on going hard after the left and isn’t doing much for the younger men who got him elected

He chases shiny objects, which we knew

Biden approval rating also dropped at this stage in his term and never really recovered. I would like to see Gen Z, Black, Latino approval ratings because those groups swung to him in 2024.

this administratoin has done nothing to address the difficulty that younger adults have to find a job because they are doing nothing about work visa abuse and continue to allow Indians and foreigners to flood the job market, locking out US college grads and transforming entire towns while Americans suffer
What I'll remember is how uninformed some folks are.

In March, DHS introduced a $100,000 application fee for H-1B petitions (up from ~$2,500), aimed at deterring low-wage outsourcing. It led to a 15–20% drop in new registrations

Random audits and unannounced inspections targeting visa abuse have increased.

DOL reinstated and strengthened higher prevailing wage requirements, making entry-level H-1Bs costlier for employers.

The Administration has been praised by labor groups like the AFL-CIO for the above, but criticized by the Chamber of Commerce for "exacerbating talent shortages." Mark that up as "things you didn't know, but should."

If GOP underperform it will be the standard complacent GOP voters that are there (or, not there) when Trump isn't running.

KCT, you can say that again. Are Boomers old arse liberals from 60s that were the No Kings protest attendance, or are they a bunch of Neocons?

2. There are jobs available. You just need to be qualified to get them and they don't need a college degree. The country needs truckers, plumbers, electricians, etc. You can't always get the type of job you are looking for. You need to look where the demand is.

Yeah just let foreigners take all the white collar high paying tech jobs, you white American plebes need to take the manual labor blue collar jobs so you can fix the toilets of Ramandeep and Surjeet

Entire schools in the Dallas area are 95% Indian... nothing wrong here!

when Republicans underperform in elections in Democrat strongholds? I mean I don’t disagree with you on a lot of what you posted, but Republicans aren’t supposed to win most of these elections today.

That's the thing, us younger voters who put over Trump hate both parties. We won't go vote Democrat, we will just stay home

I voted Trump in 2024 and left the rest of my ballot blank. My congresswoman is a huge amnesty loving RINO pushing an America last bill called the Dignity Act which would provide massive amnesty and MORE H1B visas and other work visas. I should vote for her in 2026 why exactly?

I'll stay home just like I did in 2022

This needs to get figured out and soon.

Trump isn't running in 2026 or 2028 (although, his agenda will be at stake). This is why I could see Trump resign and give the reins to Vance so he could run on his own in 2028, so he can officially take the MAGA mantle before then.
