I know it sounds complicated because its people you know, but it cant be that way. Im sure that every circle would have the same complaint. Once you allow that, then you have to allow it all. And that cant be the case.

You know what else is complicated?

Federal income taxes are complicated. Yet, somehow my compliance with the law isn't optional.

vet the ones who are working and offer a path to citizenship or long term work visa

Nah, that determination can be made as we go. I don't think we were in such need of working bodies that we had to import 15ish million in 4 years.

Some can stay if we determine there is a need, outside if that deport them.

Some family owned farms will greatly suffer. But they live in very nice homes and have money. So they can pay more to pick fruits. How much would you want paid an hour to risk the heat and copperhead snake bites in 95 degrees?

Maybe someone can get an AI to pick the strawberries?

The situation has gone on too long and gotten to entangled to deport every illegal.

Let’s say I agree to this stipulation, do they continue to receive government benefits in any form?

Most of the ones who are not legal have lived in L.A. openly and without fear of reprisal.

Seems like this is fixing to change.

My girlfriend is Mexican and a legal American citizen. Her parents live in Mexico and have no desire to ever live here in America nor learn English. They are visiting this week and I asked them what they thought about the Illegal Immigrants here and all the ‘protestors’. Her mom and dad both said Illegal Immigrants are lowest form of society and the protesters would be shot dead if they destroyed property in Mexico. Her dad even told me they don’t want the Illegals being shipped back to Mexico because they aren’t civilized people

Illegal immigrants collectively don't earn enough to pay taxes and support themselves without govt assistance.

Being here illegally is reason enough to deport but being unable to earn enough to pay their own way without government assistance is obscene. Cut off all government assistance to noncitizens and send them home.

Looks like they are going to need to start investing in their operations rather than taking advantage of a failed system.
