Yep. However, the laws are still on the books in most of those states making homosexuality illegal. Well, only 3 specific to homosexuality.
Uhhh...did you miss the part in the post you quoted that said the laws were invalidated?

After SCOTUS rules a law unconstitutional, it matters not if the law "stays on the books" or not.

We don't need a parade, because we don't have to convince people heterosexuals are normal.
I have seen videos and pics of some Gay Pride parades. Some of the homosexuals go out of their way to flame it up and dress in a very provocative way. Do you think that makes people think homosexuals are normal?

You must be really young. Pride parades have been around a lot longer than Pride Month.
Do you even know why Pride Month is in June?
I would bet any amount of money you want that I am older than you are. And that still doesn't address that the last 2-3 Presidents have set aside a month to commemorate Gay Pride. Or, I should say, they have done a decree acknowledging Gay Pride.
As for June? I don't know and I don't care. Whatever the reason, it has nothing to do with how I feel about it.

Which is one of the silliest arguments they could try to make, since there are still laws on the books saying it is illegal to tie a horse to a hitching post in town.
Maybe we should have a "Tie a Horse to a Hitching Post Pride Month"?

He didn't miss it. It just won't defend the monumentally stupid post that was made earlier.

Well, that's not quite true.
After Lawrence, many (if not all) of these states had proposed bills to overturn their now unconstitutional laws, but their legislatures failed to pass the bills. In many cases it was after floor debates. So, clearly these legislatures thought that it mattered. I was going to link some articles, but there are too many out there, so you can look it up yourself.
It's also important to know that there are many many examples throughout our history of SCOTUS ruling laws unconstitutional and states ignoring the ruling.
Now, that's not to say that people are actively being arrested for homosexuality in the US. And if someone were tried and convicted under one of these statutes, the conviction would in all likelihood get overturned. However, the fact that these laws still exist is, in most cases, a purposeful statement, and I don't think that it's meaningless.
ETA for typos again.

It's illegal to be homosexual? Aren't guilty of some "burglary"?

I don't care if the LGBT...XYZ have a Freaky Deaky Pride month, and I don't care if they hijacked the word Gay, but can we have our rainbow back? I love rainbows.

No, nothing about homosexuality is normal.

Pride comets before the fall.
Let's let the perverts fall while we populate the earth.

It is meaningless because the laws cannot be enforced.

So then we should have a Conservative Pride Month since you liberals like killing people that think differently than you.

No need for a pride day or month. Let those who stroke their own pride be consumed by it.
