I assume this is directed at liberals and Democrats since moderation is part of conservative philosophy, thinking and lifestyle, hence the root word "conserve"

The wall hasn't even happened yet. Likely never will. Obama also had a travel ban. Clinton cut regulations in '99 (ending Glass- Stegall) which many attribute to the financial crash in '07.
Apples to oranges. Obama's travel ban and bill Clinton ending Glass Stegall. Obama was all talk and accomplished nothing consistent. Had a "travel ban", but ended up allowing more extremists free cover and "get out of jail cards". Clinton working to the tune of wall street "contributors", imo. That was then..this is now.
Just to clarify your position. Are you claiming that Trump is no different than Obama or Clinton as far as advocating for left wing policies and the direction of the country?

I voted for Trump. I just refuse to think the same way for an entire lifetime or white knight for a certain political party.

Bingo.
They are a'' "moderate" but espouse the entire lib playbook of bad ideas.
it's a joke tbh. Now they're mad because everyone sees through their little "story" and they're "upset"

That mindset is why being a "moderate" is frowned upon.
I disagree. The reason being a "moderate" is frowned on, is because, far too often, it is simply a con job to cover what he/she actually stand for...a finger in the wind to gauge what will make their own road easier to travel..plausible deniability for any policy that goes bad. How, exactly, does one "moderate" their claimed principles?

Its a mask for being an unprincipled opportunist. Not really any more complicated than that.
Using your logic, then being a conservative also means being an unprincipled opportunist since there is no conservative "standard" set by anyone. Ask two conservatives to set the government's role in society and you'll likely get two different results in some areas.
You're part of the problem that OP speaks of since you either view someone as being with you or, as you put it, an unprincipled opportunist.

Welcome to the alt-right poli board where moderate beilefs are considered liberal. Their alt right beliefs are literally a social disorder

Because the divide between liberal and conservative is more pronounced than ever, so if you haven't figured out which side is to blame for the decimation of our country, then you aren't paying attention and are considered to have an uninformed, worthless opinion.
No it's not. Many conservatives are split on some issues. Main examples are global warming, education, and net neutrality.

This place is a trash fire. They ridicule the far left while never even considering far right policies could be just as harmful as far left.

Hence, the OPs point. If you don't agree with it, it's liberal nonsense in your mind.

So long as people are constantly fighting each other, they're too busy engaging in petty squabbles to start working together towards common goals.
I'd bet 80% of America would vote to curb "legal" corruption in Washington DC, but 80% of America isn't given that option, since it seems like 30% is perpetually arguing with another 30%.
Media makes money on controversy, and points of contention are controversial. That certainly doesn't help.

They don't moderate their principles, their principles lead them to moderated solutions.

Macbeth, what does it feel like to have 61 posts and presume to be in a position to draw conclusions about someone that has been posting here for 12 years?
Silly frick.

moderation is part of conservative philosophy,
Moderates turned into the progressives... they had no values and were able to pick and choose what they support. Now we're stuck with progs who dont have a clue about much of anything.
