Genuinely curious.

Obviously anyone is free to view whatever they choose.
But I’ve seen thread upon thread, describing what [a poster] witnessed on CNN.

You may be entertained, but don’t forget this:

CNN needs to be hit hard in the only place they care about—their ratings.

Demand something better from your news sources.
Maybe they’ll listen.

1980 or 1981

I stopped sometime in the 1990s. I did switch over on election night 2016 for shiggles.

CNN used to be very middle of the road.

Then Zucker took over and it's been in the toilet ever since.

It was only election night when Trump was ahead, and the night after.

So why all of the links to CNN stories on this board?

Meh - they moved pretty far left in the 1990s, even before the merger.

They were reasonably middle of the road (compared to the far left leanings at the big 3 networks newsrooms and editorial boards) for the 1980s.

Haven't watched MSNBC or CNN in the last twenty years. Also, do not watch ABC, CBS, NBC.

I can’t tolerate watching cnn, msdnc, or the networks. If pisses me off when Tucker, hannity, inghram, or Lou Dobbs shows their video clips on their show. I hit the mute button.

They've never been my source of news. I will turn them on from time to time for the lulz if I think Don Lemon will be crying or something.

Only time I watch it is when I want live coverage on something like riots (especially the first few days of it). It seems like Fox wants to continue their scheduled programming then they do this weird thing where they do the regular program but show live coverage on half the screen with no commentary. About 3 days in they actually start covering it (except for Tucker which seems to struggle with it). I even tried switching over to OANN but they don't have the resources to cover it well yet.

How else is everyone being so incensed with how the media has manipulated the Chauvin-Floyd narrative? If it's not from observing CNN, MSNBC, et al, how else are we in agreement with what MSM's doing here?

During Operation Desert Shield. And I was watching the raw satellite feeds then back in the day when a lot of us had those huge outside receiver dishes. Haven't watched CNN in years now and do not intend to watch. I even look the other direction in the airports if CNN is on.

I watched CNN in the '90s because they covered developing news stories really well. That was before radical liberalism became mainstream and people still had a little common sense. Now they are total losers.
