Some Catholics consider themselves to be more “Christian” than Protestants.

Therefore, those Catholics may claim that JFK and Biden were more Christian than Trump solely based upon JFK and Biden being Catholic and Trump being Protestant.

Are you kidding? There's a whole segment of Protestantism that Officially declares that Roman Catholics are not Christians and are not part of the Body of Christ. That's official church doctrine. The Catholic Faith has nothing like that.

Loraine Boettner is one the Protestant theologians who professes that Catholics are not Christians. There are many others.

Catholics have a written Catechism that explains our doctrines and beliefs. There's nothing anti Protestant in there. Next time one of your relatives says something goofy to you, ask them if they have read the Catechism. Then if they say "no" you can suggest that they read it.

The Catechism is hundreds of pages of detailed text with many many footnotes in tiny print. Every Catholic should carefully read it but almost none do.

What you say is right and I appreciate the long response. Absolutely this cuts both ways as I’ve read on this very forum comments regarding Catholics as apostates as so forth.

However, you know…be honest…that many Catholics consider themselves the true Christians destined for Heaven while Protestants are maybe not so much, whether because of the Peter being the “first pope” or communion, etc.

Tell these folks to go read the Catechism. The official doctrine of the RC Church explicitly instructs Catholics against believing Catholics to be better in any way and explicitly says that we will consider fellow Christians to be brothers in Christ or something like that.

Are you complaining today about poorly Catechized Catholics? SO AM I !!

I am with you 100 percent and join you in complaining about poorly Catechized Catholics who like to talk loud but have never bothered to crack the book of the Catechism. I'll bet most of this kind of person is really annoying in many other aspects of their life.

Tell them to read the Catechism. It will be the best "comeback" possible.

We do not like poorly Catechized Catholics around here. I'm with you.

Please explain to me what Jesus meant when He said, "Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."

Atheists are the most preachy, self-righteous people I know, and I am agnostic.

Warnock is a false prophet. He doesnt preach from the gospels....instead he preaches the so called social gospels which warp and pervert God's word to meet leftist goals.
