Yes, you are right. If it were set up that way there would be far less nefarious behavior. I say times 4 and settle for 2.

How does that happen? Did he just turn the suv off and leave for an extended period of time? Was it a k9 equipped suv? I thought all k9 units had heat sensors in them and if it gets too hot or too cold a txt is sent to the officer.
Buddy of mine is a k9 officer. His regular suv was damaged and had to be repaired, and while it was being repaired, they gave him a generic Durango that wasn't outfitted for k9s. So he just left his dog at home until he got his suv out of the shop. Because he wasn't risking the dog's safety. His dog is a beautiful German shepherd, and funny enough, she technically outranks him.
