It is the equivalent of the average American saving $200. Not even 1% of GDP!! Please get in touch with your reps and senator to stop this nonsense. The debt ceiling, like the Oscars, is just a game used annually to make us think others have accomplished something. Best Buds

We're in the same camp but this debt ceiling thing would have occurred either way. Just spending the same dollars on different things. Do you think we'd actually have paid DOWN the debt if those 2 would have won election? No.
