What’s the real story with all of this “stockpile for 90 days” talk?

I keep seeing it all over X.
However, I see no news outlets reporting on any of it.
I’m assuming it’s all a midterm election ploy.

BoardEd and Cajunangelle convinced me to pay for a yearly subscription to Patriots Supply. While you’ll be crying over empty soy milk cartons I’ll be eating rice and beans in my bunker.

Is it a bad thing? I don't think so. People don't need to be panicking, but taking some personal responsibility to be prepared is good for everyone. 90 days is a lot, though.

I gather it has to do with the PHP2Shell hack but I’m not sure.

Dont take my advice. I was raised and lived in Cuba a bit... to always be prepared. I was given an hour notice to board a c130 with a lot of screaming navy brat babies.
If you were given 1 hour notice minus the ferry ride time. You would be prepared.

Hoping it's the same as AI will kill us, the Russian Plague, and the Hantavirus.
