True, but most politicians, be it Democrats or Republicans, are not going to be in favor of cutting $$$ for projects in their districts. I'm definitely in favor of a constitutional convention. Unfortunately, from a practical perspective, I just don't see much success. For example, the #1 thing that needs to be cut that has never been cut, is funding for public schools. There is so much fat and bloat, it's unbelievable. Not a chance of seeing much success here.

Glad I call Colorado home now.
It'll suck for the voters to have to choose between two zeros.

If you want illegal voter registration, doing away with mandatory voter I.D., and illegal vote harvesting then you’ll love that “democrat” in the run off with Kyle Ardoin. That bitch is insane and how she received that many votes is insane. She’s exactly the plant that the liberals want in order to start getting Louisiana changed to voting a solid blue.

All the Abraham voters will vote Rispone. It’ll be close, but I really think Rispone is going to eek out a win.

One of those zeroes can buy and sell you like a monkey as many times as he wants.

Rispone voter.
But if I had to bet I’d say Edwards wins.

My former boss will be the next governor...

Knowing Gary, he probably was too.

You are either trolling or an idiot. Or both. Another 4 years of Honor Code merrily taxing and suing left and right and there won’t be anyone left to govern. The productive people will continue to flee to Texas and the welfare state will truly come to pass.

Mike Foster did 2 terms for pretty much the same goal, be like his ancestor.

Feels like a dead heat right now, and Edwards supporters are getting nervous.

Everyone I know of is voting for Rispone.

My pastor said this morning that early voting lines in Lafayette were out the door and down the sidewalk.

The point is that he could have won if he had not of expected everyone else to campaign for him instead of himself. He didn't campaigned, not even to raise funds, until the last few months of the race.

Just sayin...

That’s because his “support” for teacher pay raises was timed before the election and it was only 1000 a year. Oh and half of that got taxed out. If teachers want a better future, Edwards is not the answer. That raise was pandering for a vote and a slap in the face. I hope Rispone wins because I’m sick of nonstop injury lawyer commercials.

Out of 10 or so, its only 2 but that speaks volumes. One even had a yard flush with multiple Obama signs in 2008.
