You have to move to a neighborhood that was set up like that. It will be hard to go back, but before the 1960s many neighborhoods had those stipulations.

There has been, and still is, a fairly large group of posters that agree with some libertarian tenets but almost none that agree with everything.

There are 100s of issues out there. There are no libertarians who agree with each other on all 100. If there are, then 'REAL' libertarians could hold a convention in a phone booth.

One thing almost all libertarians can generally agree on is that the Libertarian Party's definition of libertarian is not right.

Well sure, but the LP is moronic.

I can say from personal experience that there used to be enough Ancaps on this board to give me shite for being a Minarchist

How many libertarians do you know? I would guess most "libertarians" would say I am not one because I don't support open borders.

Minarchism didn't work for America, it will never work. You're not even a real libertarian.

False.

But by all means, let's test the hypothesis.

You claim Trump was banning Muslim immigration.
Here is a list of countries with the largest Muslim populations.
Only two were caught in the ban.

Indonesia 225,000,000 Muslims -- No ban
Pakistan 204,194,370 Muslims -- No ban
India 189,000,000 Muslims -- No ban
Bangladesh 148,607,000 Muslims -- No ban
Nigeria 93,839,000 Muslims -- No ban
Iran 80,750,000 Muslims -- Ban
Turkey 74,660,000 0 Muslims -- No ban
Egypt 73,800,000 Muslims -- No ban
China 50,000,000 Muslims -- No ban
Algeria 40,400,000 Muslims -- No ban
Sudan 39,027,950 Muslims -- Ban
Morocco 32,381,000 Muslims -- No ban
Saudi Arabia 31,878,000 Muslims -- No ban
Iraq 31,108,000 Muslims -- No ban
Afghanistan 29,047,100 Muslims -- No ban
Uzbekistan 26,833,000 Muslims -- No ban
Ethiopia 25,037,646 Muslims -- No ban

I understand the reasoning why the countries that are on the ban are there

I just think it should be all or nothing if we are going to have bans, not offer exemptions based off religion

That was my point

It's just like conservatives or liberals. Everyone defines themselves by a unique set of criteria. Hell, there was a guy on youtube that declared himself an "anarco-leftist libertarian" but then went on to describe what amounted to Marxist-Leninism.

The exemption wasn't for all religious minorities. Applicants have to show religious persecution or oppression under specific guidelines under USRAP.

I'm here.

I really don't characterize what others are. Meaning, I don't dispute whether a poster is a particular ideology past how they describe themselves. I read their positions and agree, disagree, learn from, or ignore based upon the specific text.

My "libertarian" bonafides:

Yesterday, I was on the side of the San Fran jury that found the illegal immigrant not guilty.

I have consistently been PRO gay marriage rights and I posted on the side of the baker in the dispute over having Gov force him to make a custom cake for the gay couple.

I am pro weed legalization. I am open to hearing a view on "harder" drugs. But, my bias is against.

A few weeks ago, I posted in a thread lamenting Trumps juvenile tweeting.

I am pro individual rights and SMALL fed gov. But, I am not anarchist. I do agree there are limits to the personal freedoms. But, there should be very compelling reasons for the limits.

I am an Atheist. But, I am steadfastly on the side of religious people and religions to be respected, etc.

I am fiscally conservative. That is why I mostly "vote" for conservatives (though, they suck balls as being fiscally responsible, too. They just do not swallow, like the libs do.)

So, am I some reduction ad absurdum version of "Libertarian"? No. But, I certainly fit in the characterization better than I fit elsewhere.

Hence why I said “loosely” in my first post

My entire point was that if we are going to ban immigration from a country, it needs to be all, no exemptions, and definitely not exemptions based off religion
