This is quite possibly the dumbest thing posted on this board in a long while. You keep resting on laurels while the country melts around you, and the rest of us will use wisdom and intellect to have these conversations.

Yeah, before it starts, a lot of people believe the violence ends with them enforcing their will on their enemies. In reality, a lot of times these things have a way of spiraling and introducing new actors until someone you never expected to take charge is in control.
When the Afghan/Soviet war started in the 1970s, it was primarily between socialists and Sufi hardliners (Tajiks and Uzbeks in the north, Pashtuns in the South). When the Soviets withdrew, the winners spend half a decade killing each other for control of the country. Meanwhile the Taliban (who are Wahhabists and extreme by any measure in recent Afghan history) started consolidating power in the south and eventually Hekmatyar and the other Pashtuns either surrendered or made peace agreements with them, the leaders mostly found themselves hanging, the women were driven out of schools and into burkas, the graves of their ancestors were defiled for not being Wahhabists, and Massoud, the leader of the Tajiks was assassinated. When the first shot was fired no one knew who these dudes were, and now they rule the country and even drove us out after 20 years.
Same when the Christians and the Sunni Muslims fought for control of Lebanon in the 80s. When Israel invaded to keep the peace/assist the Christians, they didn’t even have a plan to deal with the Shiite population who had lived in the mountains and away from power for 100 years, and then the Shiites ended up killing everyone in an insane jihad.
Or closer to home take the example of Edmund Ruffin who campaigned for secession for fifteen years before the civil war and almost ceremoniously fired the first shot at Sumter. A few years later he died by his own hand after watching the south crumble and many of his loved ones die.
Maybe the most important conservative principle you can have is just the knowledge that things will never be perfect but there is no limit to how bad things can get

Sure. But the idea that we need radical change might be an absurd one. Maybe the status quo isn't as bad as we make it out to be.

As a country, everything just gets worse and worse. We’re worse off today than we were ten, twenty, thirty years ago.

So true. And either way it IS going to get bad.
Assume Trump (or anyone who actually intends on cleansing the system) gets in.. and assume they start taking a cleaver to the bureaucracy, the corruption, the agencies captured by commies and corporations and globalist NGOs.. etc.. there will be chaos as they fight back.. war, assassinations, terrorism..
If the Dems or a Uniparty hack get in.. the police state, authoritarianism and the economic raping of the middle class WILL escalate RAPIDLY. They can't boil the middle class much more. We're about at the tipping point where they can't keep the facade going. The precipice, if you will.
What will be the last straw for the middle class? When they start confiscating 401k accounts? Confiscating private property? They're already trying to confiscate your children's minds.
It will happen very fast and it will get very ugly.
They might try to mask it with war or economic collapse, climate change.. but it is intentional. It is global. The United States HAS to fall for it to succeed worldwide.
I'm not advocating anything. It's going to happen and I'm almost to the point of not caring. I'll try to prepare so the kids can carry on.

Go drink another cup of Jim’s KoolAid! You can’t keep spending the way we are and not defending the Dollar as the currency reserve and not expect some serious consequences!

If you’re on a smooth road and up ahead you see a giant pot hole and people destroying sections of the road would you:
A. Change lanes and then report it so it can be stopped and fixed
Or
B. Continue in the same lane at full speed because the road has been fine so far

As a whole, Congress is bankrupting the country by passing massive bills that have “Fat” in it that builds the local bridge and gets some decent things done for their constituents.
PLUS, they are establishment and squash newcomers by outspending them in campaigns, they can do that because they are bought and paid for!
And in those “same spending bills”, there is so much extra fat that the good spending is outweighed by the “waiste”.
And every $1 that they vote on for spending, .50 cents or greater doesn’t even go to the actual projects or .50 cents or greater is funneled back into their own pockets thru backroom deals and their cronies get the contracts.
Now do the “International King Maker spending”, NONE of our tax money comes back to the states. It gets printed, sent overseas to the Globalist Agendas and syphoned back to their offshore accounts.
People that cannot see this Vicious cycle of spending are either ignorant, indoctrinated, uneducated, on the Gov’t tit or combination of all the above!

Exactly. They can't have their system till the old systems are destroyed. Globally.

Yes, we need to get Rid of MAGA so that we can elect some moderate conservatives who won't lose the general election and give such a shitty margin in the house and lose the senate. You can complain all you like that moderate republicans aren't doing enough to push the MAGA agenda, but Pro fricking tip: Democrats in office will do exactly the opposite guaranteed.
When you’re stupid, do you know you’re stupid?

The sooner you dipshits understand that the Matt Goetz of the world are just playing you for fools, the sooner we can get this country turned around. At least when the republican party was unified, the democrats have had somewhat of a check and balance on what they could do. The last four years, they haven't had to care what the country thinks of them. Matt Goetz and his band of misfits have split the party so bad that we may never be able to pass any legislation worth a shite. And you all think he's America first. That's the saddest part in all of this.
