How is this an example of Christianity?

The church died in the 90s.

The only people left, are the heretical clergy, a lot of lesbians actually, and parishioners that will die of old age over the next ten years.

It is what it is.

These are leaders of the American Episcopal church. Anyone who is still Episcapalian in 2022 literally hates Christianity. They exist solely to receive government kickbacks for repopulating America with Moslems and to virtue signal left wing issues on the exterior of their property.

Well it’s not a Christian church. The Episcopal church was taken over by LGBT a long time ago. They follow no Christian principals, they dress up in catholic costumes and then assemble in mock of Christ!

Don’t even get me started on churches. It’s nothing but big business selling a palatable message that’s designed to appeal to a large audience while making no one uncomfortable. If your church name is in essence a brand because you have 10 or 15 locations around the metro area “preaching” your homogenized version of scripture, I question your motives.

Most protestant denominations aren't actually Christian. Episcopals especially openly mock the religion. Methodists aren't too far behind, either.

Just because they call themselves Christian doesn't make it so.

Episcopalians are about as Christian as those who worship Satan. Not kidding at all. They are not even remotely based in scripture and have nothing to do with the gospel message. Pagans in every possible sense of the word.

So what is it that makes Catholics fail the Christians test?

I was baptized in the same Episcopal church my dad and uncles were. Also the same church my grandparents were married in, and I helped carry their caskets out of.

Ordaining female priests...fine. Leaning hard into LGBTQ, BLM, and pro-abortion agendas has been disgraceful.

They lament the passing of Roe V. Wade but castigate Crisis Pregnancy Centers.
quote:

Isaiah 5:20-21
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
IWoe to those who are wise in their own eyes, And prudent in their own sight!

The Episcopal Church left traditional orthodox Christianity in the rear view mirror a good many years ago.

You’re a little off base. Not that much, just over broad with a bit of hyperbole.

As you pointed out, mainline Episcopal denominations in the United States, Canada, Great Britain, and presumably Australia have abandoned The Bible as authoritative and in so doing have corrupted not only the Gospel, but corporate worship, their theology, and the Sacraments.

In my opinion they have willingly chosen to leave Christ’s Church and become heretical.
My concern is their heretical actions have tarnished the reputation of faithful Christians who share with those groups an episcopal form of church government.
This is certainly the work of Satan so you’re hitting close to home there. The problem is you’re lumping a lot of Christians in with the heretics.

I posted the quote below on another thread a while back in response to a comment similar to yours. It’s appropriate here again.

quote:

They’re a considerable few of us remaining who haven’t bent the knee to Ba’al and believe and practice the Faith.

However, you’re correct, the Episcopal Church, particularly in America, Canada, and Great Britain over the past fifty years have jettisoned most all of what constitutes conservative, traditional, orthodox Christian faith.

Ironically many American Anglicans in the past few decades have looked to places like Africa, South America, and the Far East for conservative, orthodox bishops to provide Episcopal oversight to parishes and congregations fleeing the heretical Episcopal Church of America (ECUSA) now modestly and piously renaming itself “The Episcopal Church”.

It’s sad really because I believe traditional Anglican theology and sacramental worship are both Catholic and Reformed holding high views of the Bible, the Sacraments, and Christ’s Church without elevating or devaluing one at the expense of another.

They create their own doctrine. They hold a man and his word on equal grounds as God. Pray to Mary. Require a man (priest) to forgive your sins. Catholicism is Mormonism with a different flavor.

Ecumenical denominations attract leftists. Its strange, but the more structured the religion, the more leftist. Anything associated with the World Council of Churches is suspect.

This is not accurate. You can disagree of the origins of Catholic doctrine vs other religions, but it is based on tradition and interpretation that goes back to the beginning of the Church.

We don't worship or pray to Mary. We ask for her intercession. Again, you may disagree with that, but it's a key difference from what you said. Priests do not directly forgive your sins, this is incorrect as well and a misunderstanding of Canon law.

You need to know Christianity to know it's been hijacked and thoroughly misrepresented.
