Here is one problem I found with your theorem.

*All* Dems are purely that - Dems
*not all* GOPers are purely GOP

So if we were busy putting someone in office only due to the -R after their name, we’d be in the same position as we are now with far less integrity.

If we were busy putting people in office only due to the -R after their last name... John Bel Edwards would have spent the last 6 (or 2) years as a plaintiff's attorney.

And whatever you feel about David Vitter or Eddie Rispone, and whatever integrity or lack thereof they have, they would have been far better for LA than JBE.

So, we would be in a far better position... not the same one. Maybe it would be less pure... but again... slightly pure GOP is better than wholly pure Dem.

I don't vote for RINOs.

The problem is that most Republicans are actually Democrats, but no Democrats are actually Republicans.

All the Abraham supporters refused to vote for Rispone. Of course the midnight ballots from Orleans Parish didn't help either.

I truly believe the midnight ballots are an episode in incompetence, moreso than cheating. Orleans Parish ALWAYS is the last to report... been that way for at leas 50 years. It was that way when Jindal won two term and when Mike Foster won two terms.

I think some Republicans (not saying you are one of them) have decided that it's easier to blame "cheating" than it is to admit that staying home is hurting the GOP, and not having enough strong electable conservative candidates, is the real problem.

The only way a RINO gets into the general election / runoff is if a stronger conservative loses or doesn't run.

I have a strong suspicion that Mail-In Balloting is a scheme to make it easy for Democrats to cheat.

Of course it is.

Actually this race was going to be a lot tighter until Elder became the R frontrunner. Once it basically became a choice of Elder or Newsom, the choice was pretty simple for many.

Before that, it was very close and some polls even had recall winning.

If you thought for a second, California would elect a far right Trump conservative, you are out of your mind. It would be like Louisiana voting for Bernie Sanders, would never happen.

Louisiana can get a more centrist Democrat like Edwards. And California could possibly get a centrist Republican, but not someone like Elder, lol.

How did he manage to get a bigger percentage than his original election after EVERYTHING that has happened?

We know people who voted for him last time wanted him out. How did the number go up?

If that's the case... then there is no need for Democrats to cheat. They've already won.

They would have branded any Republican who entered the recall race as a far right Trump conservative.

The Republicans gained seats so I don’t know where this losing seats comes from

Because if it were purely a referendum on Newsome, he would have been recalled.

The issue is many of those who wanted him recalled wanted to replace him with another democrat. That's why the recall signatures were higher than the recall vote.

Many democrats hate Newsome, but they hate Republicans even more. And even if the leading Republican to replace him were John McCain or Mitt Romney, they still lose.

The Republican brand in California is extremely toxic.

They’ve refined the cheating sinse 2020, they wanted a big gap so that there would be no doubt. If they can’t double check the cheating in Az, there will never be any checks in Cali. We are done, question is, how long before the shite hits the fan.

If you always count on the Democrat voter machine to deliver votes, you will never be disappointed.

Any politician that didn't work for a living prior to office shouldn't be taken seriously. Too many people on both sides of the aisle view elected office as a career.

Living off the public while writing laws that the public must follow; while exempting themselves from those rules, practically requires a lack of conscience as a prerequisite.

What specifically makes Larry "far right" in your opinion?

Please be detailed and point out his policies to justify your asinine statement

No one is going to vote for Romney or whatever establishment moron the GOP trots out in 2024. Let that dream die.

It is one uniparty now.

You have actors (RINO's) that have figured out how to hold districts. The rest cheat and will never be challenged.

If the GOP won't fight, what does it matter. Georgia showed that

It really is mind boggling. Democrat voters are such a mixed bag of contradictions. The gays, blacks, ivy league elites, illegals, feminists, muslims, etc. They have very little in common with each other, other than vilifying the other side and wanting change. And they will all vote in lock step with each other. Meanwhile republican voters are mostly white middle class conservative, go to work , raise a family type people, and agree on about 90 % of things, but will fight tooth and nail over the other 10 % and destroy each other in the process.

I guess part of it is the free thinking/independent ideals pushed by conservatives, or the struggle with morals instead of the "win at all cost" mentality of dems, that holds republicans back.
