What makes Florida a shithole?

High prices , high crime , too many people and it was invaded in the late 80's by Northeastern yankees and people who can't speak English.

A large number of the halfbacks are already settled in North Carolina.

Beto almost won

Key work almost

Trump has as low of an approval rating as possible and Ted Cruz ain’t much better, still with all the DNC money behind Beto they still lost.

A dem is even money or favored in a so called purple state during a mid term

Beto covered the spread, which is cause for concern

Texas will easily be a swing state in the next 10 years. I don’t particularly like it but that doesn't make it less true.

From my point of view all states have already gone lib. No state safe havens that I am aware of. The DS roots run deep.

I'd say FL took a big step in that direction by restoring voting "rights" to felons...

Food prices , gasoline etc

Ohio is dirt cheap.

$4 for a gallon of fricking milk in Florida.

Beta couldn't take out an unpopular Senator in an off year election with a very below average turnout. I dont think people outside of Texas understand that Hispanics aren't a monolithic voting block. Many are conservative Catholics who have been here a long time, and don't have much time for urban liberals and illegals.

Gas is $1.47
Milk is under $4 but close enough.

You enjoy those Ohio beaches.

Hispanics vote like 70% Dem and they are by far the fastest growing ethnic group in Texas.

Texas will turn blue in 2020. Too many CA liberals moving in, plus Hispanics and other minorities. Texas is majority-minority now.

When I left that shithole in 2008 , gas was 40 cents a gallon more than Ohio.

I paid over $300 to register 3 vehicles in Florida , In Ohio those same three vehicles was $155.

I can go to Kroger , Meijer or Walmart and get milk for under $2 a gallon.

I can get on a country road and drive 30 minutes and not see another car.

In Florida there is a red light every 300 ft .

Florida (when I lived there) forced kids to take 2 years of foreign language. In Ohio it's an elective class the way it used to be in Florida.

Most likely to turn blue to least likely by 2024 I’d go:
FL,
GA,
NC,
TX,
TN,
KY,
MS,
SC,
AR,
AL,
LA
