What shoe/apparel company is the least woke?
ETA - Never mind. Just looked them up. Headquartered in Seattle and a subsidiary of Berkshire-Hathaway. I would imagine they are pretty woke.

Don't care. They're comfortable.

Yeah some of the designs are a little over the top
I just want some comfortable shoes. Don't want to look like I'm trying to be in a daft punk video.

New Balance CEO donated a shite ton money to Trump, so that works for me.
And they have a line of shoes that are still made in the US. They’re expensive and I don’t love the styling, but that’s all I wear.

I really wish somebody at Carhartt would recognize the $$$ they could make from introducing a line similar to Patagonia/REI type offerings. Surely those companies have some conservative/non-political product mangers that would jump at the chance to leave wokeville.
There are a lot of other outdoor companies out there. Look into Bass Pro's brand Ascend.

Carson and SOM make great shoes. Also expensive and sometimes made when ordered (they had to make mine after purchase) and they make theirs in Oregan. They don't have the capital to support politically either way and I think that says good things about a company. Prefer a company to make a product and keep their money out of politics, Republican or Democrat.

New Balance doesn't have anywhere near the selection as Nike, but I don't mind buying the same shoe in different colors.

Fred Perry Polos are legit.

Was not aware of Ascend but will check it out. Any other non-woke brands that are similar in products to REI?
Patagonia has always full on woke (fist B Corp in Cali) but REI seems to be trending more and more that way. I spend quite a bit there and would love to find another company that either aligns with my values or has the backbone to just focus on their core competencies and tell 'activists" to pound sand.

I’m sure arcteryx is lib but they’re much better than Patagonia and I don’t get some bullshite email about misogyny or racial justice for every claimed controversy. Also they make military and LEO gear and haven’t caved to pressure on that.

Kino’s
It’s a flip flop company in Key West.
3rd generation Cubans
They HATE communism and progressives.
Quality flip flops too

New Balance is not woke at all, also Red Wing Shoes and Dr. Scholl's. Apparel is a long list, so it depends on what kind of apparel you're looking for.

I’ve owned two pairs of UA and they’ve been the worst shoes I’ve ever bought. The heel wore out quick and felt like plastic poking me.
I rock hey dudes, flops, boots, and ASICS.

Arc’teryx might be the least woke? They have a military and law enforcement product line.
They have a blurb about climate and sustainability on their website though.

I thought for sure Carhartt was called out here for some woke action? I’ll try to find it
…found it. They forced the jab and people lost jobs.

My experience with Brooks is the opposite. They are the best fitting but least durable running shoes for my duck feet. I happily replace them, though.
Brooks weren't comfortable for me to run in. Similar experience with Saucony. Over the years, I've had the best experience with ASICS for fit, wear, comfort.
