What practical change will be achieved by an FDA approval on covid vaccines

Without any long term studies on MRNA vaccines, why would an FDA approval sway anyone? Nothing about the vaccine is changing, and this is basically a rubber stamp approval akin to those issued by the FISA court. Am I wrong?

You’re not wrong in that sense—while I am very much pro vaccine I do believe there is tons of pressure on them to get this thing approved and that’s generally not a good thing.
But like I said—-for months the saying on here ( and other conservative avenues) was “it’s not even FDA approved”—well now it is and they are trying to find another slogan to harp on.
The goal post will keep moving—this is the modern versions of Pro-life vs Pro-choice.

I think you are wrong. The focus has been more on the MRNA as an untested technology and no long term studies has being done on them in humans.

Maybe for smarter ppl but th vast majority of the common folks use the “it’s not even approved” slogan.

Biden may appear to be an idiot to a lot of people, but he's spent 50 years in government, mostly near the top, so to think he won't be able to get a government agency to approve something that will make him look good, people must not be paying attention.
There is no pressure at all. Just rubber stamp the FDA approval and go home to bed.
The media won't investigate or report any issues with it, for it could make Biden look bad.
This vaccine could kill every third baby and you'd never hear a peep about it.

This a a mantra that’s been spouted by the MSM, not the Right. For most people I know, an FDA approval means nothing. Unless you want to pretend that the Right is suddenly somehow trusting of government agencies!
