There's a clip on YouTube with Sen Kennedy questioning Janet Yellen as to why the D's don't just have "Chuck U" Schumer amend the budget resolution...he tells Sec Yellen it's because the D's "want the R's fingerprints on the knife." Interesting stuff.

If Miss Lindsay is saying this, then take the repercussions with a grain of salt.. or two. I trust NOTHING that comes out of her mouth.

Sen. Lindsey Graham: "Well, we screwed up. For two months, we promised our base and the American people that we would not help the Democratic Party raise the debt ceiling so they could spend $3.5 to $5 trillion through reconciliation. At the end of the day, we blinked. Two things have happened: We let our people down, and we made Democrats believe that we are all talk and no action. At the end of the day, every Republican voted against raising the debt ceiling, every Democratic senator voted for it. But we had a process in place. We made a promise, for two months, that we would make them do it without our help and we folded, and I hate that. We’re in a hole; we’ve got to dig out of this hole and we can. We shot ourselves in the foot tonight, but we will revisit this issue in December."

Hey Lindsey, you cowards always fold.

All planned and choreographed. They don’t “just screw up”.

Even if there were no other reasons, this vote alone should be why McConnell is never Senate Majority leader again.

Yeah, that would m “we’re going to get to the bottom of this” (Meuller Coup) Judiciary Committee Chair Graham that never issued a single subpoena. Big bark. No bite. Down we go.

most are the usual suspects.
McConnell is on that list to give cover.
the news you may have missed was two days before this latest agreement.
Biden had big time CEOs over to the white house.
how bout that default on the debt trump and McConnell ran up?!
somebody got a phone call.

Totally agree.
McConnell is a milquetoast. The senators that joined him are RINOs.

The RNC will get no more money from me, and I told them why.

Lady Lindsey has been on Newsmax with Rob Schmidt several times now.

Not sure why Rob disgraces his show and network with that fig.

The key is not to leave the party, but to retake it and purge the RINOs. A third party would be fine if we were in a parliamentary system where minority parties can have outsized influence in forming a new government. In our system, it is better to primary the gutless wonders sipping swamp water.
