Tough one.

Normally, I would have said 4 or 5, but with them attacking while the US was trying to negotiate with Iran, that throws a spanner in the works.

Exactly.

You cannot be an America first MAGA and think Israel's attack is okay.

They should have allowed us to attend the scheduled negotiation first.

Pray? They've already got a half dozen plans to attack US assets and frame Iran for it.

the only other support would be marshalling our so-called "allies" (SA, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, etc) to put pressure on Iran to cut it the frick out.
Put pressure on Iran to cut it the frick out. LOL.
Yeah, Iran, you're going to have to stop getting bombed by Israel.

We need to jump in before Israel kills all the Revolutionary Guards. We owe them big time!

5. Diplomatic and Economic Pressure: The U.S. avoids military involvement but ramps up sanctions, diplomatic censure, or pressure through international bodies like the IAEA to isolate Iran. This could include supporting Israel diplomatically while continuing nuclear talks to de-escalate.

6. Minimal Action (Signaling Military Readiness): The U.S. signals military readiness by repositioning assets (e.g., aircraft carriers or bombers) or issuing warnings to Iran against targeting U.S. interests, without engaging in active support for Israel’s operations.

Thats about it, and Im being kind.

This is tough -

On one hand - we give Israel billions in aid - they are a culture with similar values and goals as the US - many Americans have duel citizenship - they protect all the Jesus stuff for us. They are essentially our strategic foothold in the region.

On the other - the Arabs did just give Trump a fancy plane

Honestly - I think we go back to the Arabs and see what else they want to give us. If one side is giving us stuff and the other side is taking stuff - I think the best America First policy would be to go with the givers.

That would be the Muslims not the Jews.

The bare minimum needed to get Iran to the point where Persian women can wear bikinis again.

The United States is not a Christian country, and our tax dollars should not be used to promote a zionist evangelical agenda.

I am just stating a fact not an opinion.

If you remove religion from the equation, and examine the economics - it makes way more sense for the US to side with the Arab states over Israel.

It surprises me why so many people claiming to be America First advocate for Israel in this conflict. Trump giving Jerusalem away for free was a mistake. Arabs would have given us a fleet of planes for that.

The true phrase as I see it in actual practice is "Israel First, America Second"
