What is the specific “Trump rhetoric” that contributed to the New Zealand terror attack?

Genuinely curious. Would one of our liberal fellow posters enlighten me?

I want something specific, not just these broad statements that politicians have been making. What exactly has Trump said that charged this person to commit this atrocity?

He said he supported him as a symbol of renewal for white identitarianism

He might look at Trump as a symbol for that, but when has Trump ever called for any such thing?

You’re fired. A gun is fired. Coincidence? Of course not.

None.

Honestly though, I'd be more interested in if the gunman's family mysteriously comes into a large amount of money, within the next year.

I'd be of the same mindset if the guy's manifesto claimed that tyt, hrc, msm..and basically every other thing I hate, radicalized him. In my mind, that would be a perfect villainization of all the things I hate. Almost too perfect.

James Hodgkinson idolized Bernie. Is Bernie responsible for Steve Scalise being shot?

Read his manifesto...He looks to Trump as a symbol of white identity. Other than that, he doesn't seem to be a big fan of his.

Did Trump take a photo with this guy? You know, like your boy Obama took with Farrakhan?

This was pretty explicit. Plus the total and complete ban he called for on muslims entering the US. I'm not saying he is a racist.. just that there is a reason these groups identify with him.

“I think allowing millions and millions of [immigrants] to come into Europe is very, very sad. I think you are losing your culture... I just think it’s changing the culture. I think it’s a very negative thing for Europe. I think it’s very negative,” he said.

“I think it’s very much hurt other parts of Europe. And I know it’s politically not necessarily correct to say that, but I’ll say it and I’ll say it loud. And I think they better watch themselves..."

If we're being honest, "islam is a religion of peace" being repeated after EVERY SINGLE F'ING ATTACK by these cavemen couple with the FORCED integration of a people whose average IQ is room temperature is more responsible than anything President Trump said.

I’m watching no coverage, but the fact that 90% of this board is more pissed off about media coverage of Trump than they are about a mass shooting at a mosque might be a hint.
