You're not going to pretend this is about financial gain, though. Are you? That would be idiotic, so I'm willing to let you walk that back, if that's what you were alluding to.

Terrible description of Trump supporters. Horrible.
There's tens of millions of Americans donating to Trump. They are not all stupid nor are all grandma's living in trailer parks.

You're the only one that mentioned financial gains. The other poster left it open for anything, you then limit the argument to financial gains, then talk down to him for talking about the subject only you mentioned. Do you see how dumb you sound?

Also, Trump getting people to pay his legal fees is not gaining. At most, it is breaking even. Even that would be dumb to say, just not as dumb as saying a few people donating to Trump's persecution fund is gaining.

He's running because it benefits him to keep running.

He has no desire to heal any rift. He would rather rule under dysfunction.

There is even more turmoil surrounding him now. This would be another wasted 4 years with both parties obstructing.

I did very well his first 4. Plus there were no wars and gas prices were helping so many people. I even went to the border a few times and it was quite pleasant.

He will be treated as a lame duck for the entire four years.

No legislation. Just EOs sadly.

The left will resist every little thing he wants unless it serves them.

Gonna be a rough ride.

Thanks for admitting it won’t be his fault and it’s congress why we can’t do anything and massive spending. You’re an idiot.

Trump had both houses of Congress his first term for two years. Accomplished very little. He governed by executive orders which is something Obama was criticized for. Trump is a joke and his own party treated him like a piñata

Also, why is literally nothing ever Trumps fault?

I wouldn’t necessarily argue against that. Yet please explain — in great detail - how this “grift” Trump is running is some gross, monstrous departure from his predecessors?

You say this like it is a bad thing. Gridlock is the absolute best outcome we can hope for in this wholly corrupted political environment.
