From just a few posts prior -
She apparently did work on it, was deemed ineligible but told she could stay on the condition of continuing regular check ins which she did.
It’s unfortunate for her that those terms changed suddenly recently… but implying that she’s illegal, criminal, didn’t work on being her legally havent been validated in any way yet
Again, I’m no expert on her, but don’t feel the need to aggressively paint her in ways that we haven’t seen justification for (at least yet)

She was mostly law-abiding, they knew where she was and was low-hanging fruit.
Similar to complaints where the driver with insurance, license and working vehicle gets fines whereas those who are illegal in some way seem to escape...
Seems to me she could have pressed the system to obtain legal residency/citizenship but I suspect she figured if she made waves, they would deport her.

Wrong. She was here illegally. The government stayed her removal order. There was a removal order. She overstayed her visa…did not get asylum and was ordered removed.

I don't know how it works but I presume non-citizen spouses have to go through some sort of vetting process. To what degree that happens, I have no idea.
