Right, we’re pretending ICE is detaining her for dinner and movie.

Most likely questioning. Maybe she’s all good and stays, maybe there’s a lot more to it than a news article with her husband saying she did everything right would have you believe. The entire premise of this whole thread is based on you getting emotional about something that might not even happen.

Can you link the emotional thing you’re referencing? What emotions have i displayed?

Speculation. But, I don’t think it’s a coincidence this lady lived quietly for decades and her current husband stressed that he thinks she had a valid social security card and was just about to qualify for Medicare…then the next thing he knows, the feds were at the door asking for a word with his wife.

It probably has more to do with the President bombing her native country.

I was born predisposed and then perfected the art of it over the next several years.

And I enjoy it.

It's simple. Rounding up criminals and real bad guys is hard. It's much easier to pick these people up to meet the quota.

Is this the new catch phrase they told y’all to spout?

I noticed Decatur already tossed it out.

Maybe, but I’ve been involved in enough government audits that I’ve seen this play out before.

Two guys start arguing whether there’s really a problem, so someone comes up with a test case.

Let’s take a sample of questionable SSNs, limit age of 62-64, and collecting SS.

Now audit each one that claimed benefits for Medicare after the inauguration.

Confirm authenticity of the SSN, if fails draft report that illustrates failure of Biden administration and subsequent correction by Trump.

Typically, cooler heads ultimately prevail and the findings are toned down, or a leadership change occurs and the findings are tabled.

Isn't that interesting that she has a driver's license... Our AG Liz Murrill just testified a few weeks ago that illegal aliens could not get driver's licenses in Louisiana...

Oh...and our Secretary of State is supposed to be making sure that illegals aren't registering to vote... She isn't doing that either. Just flat out not following laws.

I guess Trump could have offered her a ride in a B-2 and dropped her off.

Would that be better?

Pretty simple, really.

She isn’t here legally and she must return to her home. This is not her home and she broke our laws to be here.

“No one is above the law.” Remember?

I don’t see what is so difficult to understand.

this is the answer.. nothing else to discuss actually

To enforce immigration laws

What is your take? That she is above immigration laws? Do you disagree with your fellow dims?

They have clearly stated ad nauseum "no one is above the law"

As a point of order: she’s been in the country under legal status based on an ICE agreement that she’s engaged in and followed, no?

Illegal = deported.

She's illegal. She's getting deported.

I will ask again. Was she here legally or illegal?

It seems like she is following the law and what she has been told to do by the govt. It does sound like the discretion of ICE is to meet the quota.

I'm all for going after illegals and especially those that are on some goofy Biden asylum request and most especially going after the criminal elements.

Unless there is evidence she is working with criminal/terrorist elements or if she is being used for questioning and seeing who she knows in Iran that could be useful, I don't agree with this deportation. I would like to know the reasons they have, if they have reasons other than her not having asylum.

Granted, the status has been changed according to law. Time to go home.

Speaking of points made ad nauseum- she was in this country legally based on agreement she had with ICE for nearly 50 years. ICE decided not to uphold the agreement any longer without notice. Can they legally do this? Yes. Does that benefit anyone at all? No.
