True story: When I was a soldier in infantry training at Fort Jackson before being sent to Vietnam, I actually got named Post Trainee of the Week. I was sent to headquarters to meet General James Hollingsworth and I noted that some private had mowed a giant peace symbol in the lawn in front of his command center.

Had to look that one up, didn't know they closed the Drill Sgt Academy at Ft. Leonard Wood in 2008, where I earned my hat back in 1990.
