The problem that so many of you have, is you fell for this false idea that putting America first meant that we could just ignore everything else,

The problem with Trump 2.0, he's ignoring domestic problems to pursue his goal of cementing a legacy via foreign relations and regime change.

There is nothing "America first" regarding Trump 2.0.

China has the single largest SPR of oil in the world. The assertion that this war has brought them “to our feet” is borderline intentionally stupid

China has a daily import requirement of 12 million BOPD. They have two billion bbl storage capacity, so they can last 133 days with no import if they were 80% full when it starts (80% is probably a realistic target).

The US imports about 500,000 BOPD from the Middle East. All other imports can be considered domestic, because they would not be threatened in a war. The US has about 380 million bbls in SPR today, so we could last a little over two years in an emergency. Two years is more than enough time to build refineries that could produce West Texas Intermediate, so the US could last forever in an emergency.

Both nations are nearly immune to oil extortion. But China, as a big net importer, is going to suffer from oil shortages, whereas the US is a net beneficiary of oil shortages.

Not much…

Near collapse of Hamas
Near collapse of Hezbollah
Near collapse of OPEC
New leverage with China
Near collapse of Cuba
Re-establishment of the Petro Dolllar
Bypass of the Strat of Hormuz
Elimination of a radical nuclear program
Consequences for FAFO regimes

Still to be done
Elimination of clerical regime
Removal of IRGC

You're arguing with me by telling me that they were against it until they weren't?

I’m telling you that they were against it until the enemy committed an attack on the American homeland. After that, there was a patriotic unity, as you pointed out. But I think the inflection point of a supposed unprovoked attack is important to note.

I voted for this. I was saving about a buck a gallon on gas over biden prices in the first 14 months of Trump's 2nd term compared to biden prices. . I can pay an extra 2 bucks a gallon for 7 months before Ive lost anything.

Thats how collectivism works, Comrade. A few people do most of the work and make all the sacrifices.

Youre a good little soldier.

Biden admin artificially forced prices to be higher than they are now, and you people didn't care.

How did Biden force the entire world to experience hyper inflation due to a global pandemic?

Please give us the playbook

Of course. All MAGAs should sacrifice their wealth for the cause.

Just think how much you are helping the government.

Gubment ain't selling me gas. That's what we are talking about here. My President is crushing the biggest sponsor of terrorism in the world and I voted for that.

The high prices are your opportunity to support the war effort, comrade.

Such a tiny sacrifice to make for the Persians. We want to make Iran great again.

I’m not sure how you can respond to a post this clueless about the danger of a nuclear Iran, but,so far, we haven’t succeeded in eliminating the threat…

However,

I’m not defending the price of gas at all because nobody wants to make adjustments but we still have some of the cheapest gas in the world. The world avg is $5.75 per gallon as our national avg is $4.50 currently.
