A few generations of liberal education did it

A man with less than a high school education could raise his family on his wages alone. Thats what has been stolen from us.
This is the key fact in this thread.
But, we must keep in mind how people lived in the past compared to the lifestyle that we've become accustomed to today. It is possible to raise a family on "wages alone", but, you'd have to "do without" a LOT of things that MOST folks today will refuse to do without.

Weak men create hard times. Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men.
Guess which part of the circle we’re approaching.

We're winding down the fourth one, and circling back to the first one, right?

Nope we are winding down the first and fixing to enter the second.

This is what their kids looked like so shouldn’t they have already be hanging their heads in shame?

I blame Robert Smith and The Cure.

Was it something in our food supply or water supply?
Actually, yes. It is now accepted that plastics are endocrine disruptors and there's no safe plastics. There's been studies done and they showed that even "safe" plastics like PET disrupt the endocrine system. The result is increased estrogen, reduced testosterone and increased obesity. Even worse, it is multigenerational in animal models. I would quote scientific papers but I know people's attention spans are no more than 1 to 2 paragraphs so I won't bother.
The endocrine society put out a warning that we need to eliminate plastics, or at least re-engineer them. Quote:
quote:
"Many of the plastics we use every day at home and work are exposing us to a harmful cocktail of endocrine-disrupting chemicals," said the report's lead author, Jodi Flaws, Ph.D., of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Urbana, Ill. "Definitive action is needed on a global level to protect human health and our environment from these threats."
One more:
quote:
“Endocrine-disrupting chemical exposure is not only a global problem today, but it poses a serious threat to future generations,” said co-author Pauliina Damdimopoulou, Ph.D., of the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden. “When a pregnant woman is exposed, EDCs can affect the health of her child and eventual grandchildren. Animal studies show EDCs can cause DNA modifications that have repercussions across multiple generations.”
TL;DR: plastics are turning the frogs gay (and humans).

I just hope (for their sake) that modern living will remain easy. Generations of men don't know how to perform simple tasks with basic tools.
It's an embarrassment what a nation of helpless children we've become.

Feminism.
I hate those bitches.
So much.
They emasculated our culture. Told boys that they were useless and men they were unnecessary. And that masculine energy was somehow a vice.
They told women that it was somehow wrong to be feminine. Or maternal.
It’s revolting the caricature they have formed of our genders. Now somehow a dude in a dress is supposed to be a woman and the WNBA is about to full of mediocre male athletes.

Exactly. Go to any decades 20 years olds and you will find an example of what the OP is complaining about.

We consume a lot of endocrine disrupters. Which crater your testosterone levels.
It seriously damages male cognition. You can’t actually think straight, although it’s not something people would understand themselves.
It’s our compromised water supplies. So it’s chemicals like Atrazine. But it’s also the plastics leaching into our foods.
China recently started a campaign against the feminization of Chinese men. That makes me think it’s really in the food we eat, and the water we drink. China went from being a traditional society, to being an industrial one, like ours, overnight. So the difference is shocking to them.
And just to be clear. It’s my assumption that the Chinese food and water supplies are compromised like ours.

How do you think those men would feel knowing men like you go to an Internet forum to bitch and complain all day?

When they came up with the "participation trophy" and decided there was no winners. ...all were winners for just showing up. The internet and video games sure didn't help. The web spawned a whole new breed of underachievers.

And no plastics are safe. Studies have been done on "safe" plastics and proved they leech just like polycarbonate.
And if you think you can avoid plastics, think again. It leeches into our water supply, it's in all canned goods, all meats are wrapped in it. It's virtually impossible to avoid it. About all you can do is reduce exposure.
It's a real problem and we're going to look back 100 years from now in disbelief.
