I don’t know any Trump supporters who are flat out unwilling to acknowledge that he made some missteps. What President didn’t or doesn’t make missteps? And what does that have to do with his ability and competence to be President again anyway?
As for the endorsements, you’re basing such a large consideration on your disagreement with probably a small handful of his endorsement decisions? Those are simply personal opinions of yours and are in no way a definitive assessment of his endorsement decisions. Some folks disagree with you and are just fine with his selections, more or less. Just seems to me you’re reaching on these.

And the sad possible scenario of this would be for DeSantis to win the primary, and a huge number of disgruntled Trump voters to just not vote in the general election.

It's a stupid argument. Both are great conservative candidates. I will wait for the primary debates to select my choice but either candidate that gets to the GE will have my vote.
