I will. I hope to meet someday as well. I'm sure we disagree on many things here but at the end of the day I think most people are good people.

I don't know if belief is a product of persuasion or an act of will.

Rex got snuffed.
Tuba shows up from time to time and always crashes out. I suspect he spends a great deal of time in therapy.

If that's what the man needs then I hope it helps. I would definitely be in therapy if I were him

I think Rex died. Pretty sure Rex died.
What about Navy? That was another democrat on here, if I remember correctly

Years ago we had some group meet ups. I think the last time I was with anyone IRL was when I met with Rex and his wife in 2018.
I've probably met dozens of people from here even if it was briefly at a tailgate. Most of the people I met weren't regular poli board posters.
You might be surprised how good most of the people are here. One of the guys I met years ago contacted me to see if could help with a Katrina related charity I posted on here years ago.
you have no idea how many times I have said IRL, nah p-man is really a good dude, he just gets mad on the internet

Guessing he either gave up on the place or is posting under a different name. His style is noticable enough where someone would have figured him out by now.
there are a few of them that are so filled with contempt for the site they cant help but oit themselves

What happened to toothpick? Nobody says “moonbat” anymore

Yeah I remember meeting you as well. I was much fatter back then. Honestly I think the last or possibly the only time I saw you was at the tailgate for the 2006 Fresno State game. I'm probably about the calmest person you'll ever meet IRL.
I'm trying to be better online as well. To me it's not worth it to be mean anymore.

Tuba would get so frustrated. I think he had a physics degree and he was always mr logic, defending the most illogical bleeding heart anti-authority crap
their dad was a well known social cause hippie attorney in BTR that filled his kids with the most warped sensibilities
I wonder how their sister turned out
Rex was in his 60s and retired when I met him in 2006. He was pretty thin, so I assume he died of old age or some sort of cancer or something like that

Actually had a PhD. I remember emailing him a few times about some things I had questions about. He's very competent in that domain. I think he may have been involved in research at the ligo facility but I might be imagining that. He never did anything wrong to me but I do remember him seeming a little off with some of his postings here.

Even Sparkafatty got unbanned for the anniversary (and promptly banned again). But not our beloved T-Pick
Why is Elleshoe banned 99% of the time? I've never seen him do anything ban worthy on the OT or here. I don't read the Rant - he must be quite the shite talker there.

Tuba had his own formula back in the BCS days.
It wasn’t bad if you understood the math. It was off with the “eye test “ early in the season. But got very accurate as the season went along. Everyone attacked him.
I didn’t understand why. Then I spent about 5 minutes on PT and fully understood the hate.

Chicken sent me a personal email invite to the 2007 NC party at Lucy’s, but something came up and I couldn’t make it.

I remember laughing my arse off when I saw this. Vols&Shaft had some great ones if I remember.
I first joined up here after an LSU friend told me about the Poliboard during the 2012 election. Feel like an outsider at times compared to some of y’all who have all met or post more frequently, but it’s been a fun ride.
Even though I didn’t agree with Rex on much, he was a solid poster. He could troll, but he did it with style and could put together solid debates. He could also be annoying as hell at times, but it seemed like it was all about the troll. The guys who try it these days don’t compare and are nowhere near as sophisticated in their posts.
Anyone seen BHP lately? He was funny as hell and an overall good sport on everything it seemed.
