Secession, peacefully, should always be on the table to avoid another one of the violent wars the progressive party starts.
Being prepared for the worst is smart policy. The worst being the continued March to the hard left the progs are currently on.

I'm not sure you are serious. If you are, you've been reading too many books on the last "Lost Cause"

The progressives will do anything they can to squash our liberties and destroy capitalism. They hate freedom. They hate human flourishing.
So will the other side if given the opportunity. Republicans are not necessarily your friends either
We have elections for a reason. Right now, the positions of Republicans overall especially in the more urban and populace areas of the county are not as popular as they are in places in the South. However, the fact that the Republicans can still control 2.5 of the 3 branches of government really ain't that bad.
What is it that you want or don't want from government?

It's a completely stupid question. Secession died 154 years ago at Appomattox Court House. End of discussion.

Secession would be hilarious. You have any idea how poor the south is? Country of welfare.
20% of welfare recipients reside in California

Sounds like you're looking for a place you can feel safe.
A "safe-space" if you will.

I seriously think if the country keeps on the path it is going, the South and Midwest should secede and leave the US to form it’s own sovereign nation
And they claim liberals hate America.

Why do you think the Southern states are so dependent on Federal money? What part of the population is most dependent on that money?
Posted on 11/15/18 at 1:05 pm to LintLicker
People today hate people who work and make lots of money and hate people who believe in America first. So many of my college friends believe that if you make over $100,000, that you should be required to give a portion of your money to the government for welfare. What kind of crazy arse thinking is this? The government should not be telling people what to do what their own money that they rightfully earned. I think some taxes are ok and I think most people will agree with that but we’re getting out of hand with this tax shite. Everyone has the right and ability to make how much money they want, it’s just some choose not to and to do other things. If you don’t want to work and make your own money then that’s your choice. Don’t tell the government to force me to give you my money that I earned
