What could Hillary have done to appeal to white middle class voters?

What should she have done differently? Should she have emphasized a platform instead of identity politics?
Could she have done anything at all after 8 years of Obama?
Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania have been safe spaces for corrupt Democrats for a long time.

She could have told her party that silencing a huge voting block on the basis of their skin color was not a winning a strategy.

I think she (correctly) laid low for much of the campaign and underestimated Trump's chances. He was such a buffoon that, by all appearances, he should've had no shot. There was zero chance that she was going to appeal to white MCV in the rust belt. Zero.

She ran the most anti white man campaign and was caught lying about TPP. When your supporters are screaming white privilege and you can't distance yourself out of fear of losing minority vote that when she lost this race.
Bill Clinton is considered responsible for NAFTA and she supported it. Placing TPP in the platform was the nail in the coffin though. Trump completely outmaneuvered her and broke the union households and the poorly educated white voters.

What Her husband did. Distance herself from the Progs that are ruining our national cohesion and run as a centrist . But she thinks the white working class are deplorable so that wasn't going to happen.

Had a message and a plan with policies, etc....and distanced herself from Obama. That was basically her perception...Obama 2.0 on steroids. More regulations and social BS, amnesty , hundreds of thousands of refugees....

Tons of stuff she could have picked a black VP or a Granholm type of female from the Rust Belt.
She could have picked Bernie.
She could have visited Wisconsin and Michigan ten more times each than she did instead of all the cross-country fundraising she did in CA or the stupid stops in AZ and GA.

Not surrounded herself with controversy during her entire political career (Whitewater, benghazi, email servers, etc)
She could have been charismatic and not come across as a monotone, boring robot
She could have distanced herself from wall street elitist special interests like Goldman Sachs by not taking hundreds of thousands per speech from them
That's a start. How much time y'all got?
Eta: for the record, I usually voted democrat until this past November. "Appealing" and "Hillary Clinton" just don't belong in the same sentence.

Nothing, she was/is tainted/poison. As a white, mid forty year old woman, I never considered her an option.

She could've started by not running under the premise that it was her turn so everyone should vote for her

All valid. She was garbage and was never going to win the rust belt for the relatablity issues alone. She was an utterly unlikeable candidate.

Millions of white middle class people voted for Hillary Clinton last year. Millions. She just needed a few more to do so in PA, MI, and WI.
