What is the conspiracy that I'm missing?
ETA - And I hope all of you realize that if you take this stance you are in fact subscribing to a conspiracy theory.
Masterful strawman construction.

Climate change has always been real. I don’t believe it has anything to do with human activity.

While this is a fact it's also meaningless to this discussion

Why do changes in weather patterns over a very short recorded seasonal period of time make you fearful and demand a tax?
I'm not demanding a tax

LOL, OP getting his arse kicked and all he’s replied with are beyond atypical retorts out of the leftwing playbook.
You didn’t score any virtue points today, retard. Enjoy your turd sandwich.

BTW Exxon is now pretty much of the stance that climate change is real
People have answered your questions. Now you answer these.
1. Do you believe climate change is caused by man's activities?
2. If you do, what do you base this on?
3. Why do you think so much of the evidence has been manufactured to support climate change if it is, indeed real?

Being outnumbered and getting my arse kicked are 2 different things
That's like saying you would be getting your arse kicked on DU by pointing out the flaws in their gun control arguments

Climate change is caused by factors that include oceanic processes (such as oceanic circulation), biotic processes, variations in solar radiation received by Earth, plate tectonics and volcanic eruptions, and human-induced alterations of the natural world.

You set up the discussion using a false premise.
Most don't believe that climate change is a hoax.

Until these can be answered, it's a hoax
1. Define the “correct” temperature range for the planet.
2. Define the “correct” humidity range for the planet.
3. Define the “correct” mean sea level for the planet.
4. Define the “correct” amount of precipitation for the planet.
5. Define the “correct” makeup of the atmosphere.
6. Define the “correct” amount of sea ice at the N/S poles.
7. Define/explain past glaciation and subsequent warming without any input from humans.

Yes

The preponderance of scientific studies that reach this conclusion

I don't think that. The manufactured evidence comes from big oil. Really no different than big tobacco on smoking.
And now even big oil says that man made climate change is real

You talking “global warming” or “climate change” specifically...and what’s the difference, if you can help me. TIA
Posted on 3/7/18 at 7:14 am to Powerman
Do people really say that climate change is a hoax and isn't happening? I agree that our climate is changing; climate change is real. I do not believe in anthropological climate change though. This is happening with or without us.
The conspiracy that you are missing is that government agencies and scientists that are using government funding for their research are changing the data to make it look more severe than it is, and projecting more severe changes than we are seeing to 1.) keep the money to them flowing and 2.) serve as a pipeline for wealth redistribution.

I clarified in a previous post that they're the same thing. The term climate change is inclusive of global warming but acknowledges there are other issues other than just global warming that have potential to be problematic.

But why did they change it from AGW to CC?
