I live in Brookhaven and know Cindy personally through my daughter-in-law. At first I was leary of her due to her democrat past. But believe me when I say she is now hardcore MAGA. My vote is in.

Are you Chris McDaniel or do you just believe his ads?
Support this with fact. All of it.

Don’t care. She has supported Trumps agenda without wavering 100% thus far. Until that changes I’ll vote for her to ensure gop majority

Wouldn’t mind voting for McDaniel, what they did to him last time was dirty.
And McDaniel’s minions entering Thad Cochran’s bedridden wife’s room in a nursing home wasn’t dirty?

Ahh yes. The protest voter. Givin that half vote to Espy.

You think Espy has a chance?
Hyde-Smith is not what she seems.
She’ll win though. And we’ll see I guess.

Used to kind of like McDaniel but that dude just isn’t it. He cares more about attention than getting things done.
I had hope for him a few years ago but he has shite the bed and should not even be considered anymore, there just is no substance there.

I see a lot of people have swallowed the media’s portrayal of McDaniel hook line and sinker.
Hyde-Smith is a Haley Barber seat filler and an establishment wet dream. Trump is picking his battles and will not fight McConnell on this one. Just not a huge priority for him.
Mark Levin endorses McDaniel and McDaniel would be an immediate force in Congress. He’s a fighter and an articulate spokesman for true conservatism... and he isn’t a former Dem.
CHS is just not a good candidate. Those of you thinking a Democrat has a chance in MS right now... lol.
I’d basically say it goes like this: if you’re in big Ag or MIC or otherwise a lobbyist in MS and rely on the federal government to earn a living then vote for CHS. If you are for free-market true conservatism and against the establishment wing of the party then vote for McDaniel.
I personally don’t like the fact that it’s been 20+ years since a governor hasn’t hand selected our Senator.

Excellent post, Mohican.
Nice to see someone that gets it!
Unfortunately, there is not enough of you.

It was this simple in Alabama too. Almost cost Trump a Supreme Court pick.

If you like what happened to Justice Kavanaugh, you can thank Roy Moore and the same voters in Alabama who would vote for Chris McDaniel in Mississippi.
McDaniel is a power hungry nut. He will never get elected as Senator, especially after what his nutty followers did in the last campaign.
A vote for McDaniel is a vote for Espy and a vote against a conservative agenda, Trump’s legislation and the next conservative Supreme Court justice. Cindy Hyde-Smith has Trump’s support, so support her.
And this bullshite about McConnell-I guess you missed the Kavanaugh hearings. He deserves the benefit of doubt these days.

I'm voting for Hyde-Smith. This poll shows she easily beats Espy, but Espy beats McDaniel by several points:
LINK
No, polls aren't perfect, but literally the only chance Dems have to take this Senate seat is by McDaniel making the runoff against Espy. That being the case, you'd have to be a pretty short-sighted "hard core Republican" to vote for Chris McDaniel.
Disregarding the fact that he's an arrogant guy who seems much more concerned with proving what an uncompromising conservative he is than with actually helping our state.

McDaniel is a certified cook. Mississippi voters will vote for Smith just to keep him out of the public eye.
Posted on 10/30/18 at 1:05 am to Bill Parker?
Wicker (R) easily beats Baria (D), and is the next in line for a long long career in the Senate, all the major powers back him and he does a decent job.
The other race is Hyde-Smiths to lose. (Trump backed) However I think she is the weakest MS has had in a very long time which is not good.
What will be interesting to watch is if McDaniel loses does he challenge Tate Reeves for governor. Reeves is all but a lock.
Overall this is one of the weakest MS delegations in quite awhile. With Harper retiring and both Senators not very high in seniority, could be slim pickings. Its probably time for the 3-4 power brokers to relinquish some control because the candidates will only get worse and could potentially allow a D to win.

This is terribly short-sighted. And just flat out wrong.
CHS for the win, and here's to McDaniel going away. Please, just go away.

Lots of betas in here saying McDaniel couldn't beat espy. Please. He beat Cochran in the primary in 14.
I'm voting McDaniel over an appointee who wont debate.
