I'm waiting on the woke arse company i work for to stop virtue signaling and let us breathe, until then I have to walk around a plant in this heat with FR's and a pointless mask that messes with my breathing.

Masks are overrated, but this is ridiculous.

I studied immunology at a high level. It isn’t ridiculous, it’s factual, and it’s common sense.

You really cannot see the difference between a surgeon wearing his/her mask in an operating room and constantly wearing a mask at school for children?

Male surgeons have a life expectancy that’s 6 years lower than the average man who makes it to age 25. Female surgeons have a life expectancy 9 years lower than the average woman who makes it to age 25.

Yes, it does seem like wearing masks decrease life expectancy.

They wear them throughout the hospital. The study posted is a total joke. Besides, the original post I responded to was a guy talking about rebreathing his own filth.

Still different... they usually change the masks frequently throughout the day and even between visits to each patient/patient's room...
Now, apply that logic to a 5 year old at school wearing the same mask that mom probably washes once per week at best...

Again, read the post I responded to and its assertion of rebreathong one's "filth." Secondly, the "study" was a joke. You can find those same germs on our shirts, pants and hands.

What new developments will flip that switch in their heads that they they don’t need it? Are they waiting for zero cases?
I was going to post this as an OP in a new thread by itself but I will throw it in here.
I have noticed recently that in my area where we no longer have any mask restrictions that there are a lot of small kids who still mask up in public despite being with adults who are not masked. My takeaway here is that these kids have been scared into it and are afraid to unmask. Anybody else noticing this?

Encourage them to never take their masks off. Remind them that they’re trump supporters if they do

The entire crew rips the mask off as soon as they exit. They don't wish to rebreathe their own filth; they know it is damaging to their health. They wear masks in theatre only to avoid breathing their own filth into an open wound, which, during the duration of surgery, is a greater risk than rebreathing their own filth.

You didn't read the article. They used "shirts, pants and hands" as the control, and didn't find the same pathogens.

Waiting for the CDC to say the vaccines aren’t affective against the delta variant so it back to everyone wearing masks

They're not going to give them up. It is their religion.
They are now the Branch Covidians.
I am at a facility today that is owned by one of America's most recognizable corporate names. They have a monster sized gay pride flag hanging from a silo.
