I've always felt if we take the time to understand one another, we're not that far apart on the issues and what we want for the country.

But it starts with identifying the actually problem before we can have meaning dialogue on the solutions, right?

Since we seldom agree on the problem we never can agree on solutions...or policy

How do we deal with the current political culture of being very divisive?

how do we get deeper in the issues before we get triggered?

That is probably about it since I oppose totalitarianism

That taco shells should be flat on the bottom so they stand on their own.

Good luck,

these days it seems we can't even agree on basic definitions, like 'man' or 'woman'

Many. But nothing With Progressives. They have started a cultural war in this country and must be rooted out. They will NOT negotiate.

Classical conservatives and liberals agree on a lot and aren't really the issue. The issue is the rise of partisan "teams" pitting theocratic republican Jesus against totalitarian progressive rule.

The latter two groups are similar in some ways (they are the two groups primarily driving the anti-intellectual and anti-science movement) but are incapable of conducting meaningful discussions with each other because it's more about their team winning than than anything else.
