What an amazing fireworks display in DC last night!

Watching it from the web cam of the Washington monument was breath-taking. The most beautiful display of synchronized fireworks while setting a world record says much about the engineers behind it all.

People waited inside for hours until the lightning threat was over. They still showed up. If it was canceled, the left would be celebrating today.

That was an amazing show. Watched a lot of out on PBS then caught in YouTube.
Saturday in the park, I think it was the 4th of July.
. Perfect song choice for Chicago to start with. The tv was going between multiple sites too. NY, mount Vernon, Philly and DC. But DC showed out.
That may be the world record firework show in DC starting with that afterburner flyby then going on for over a full half hour. Regardless of your politics that was badass and really that whole event should make you proud.
