What am I missing here? Trying to cross the border illegally, with children

What kind of dumbass takes their children to commit a crime? What kind of dumbass tries to infiltrate a country, illegally, with their KIDS?
Everyone is SO wound up about this problem. Here is the solution: STAY IN MEXICO. KEEP YOUR KIDS.

Crossing the border to request asylum isn’t a crime.
Reentering the country after being deported is illegal, but the first time isn’t a criminal act.

Heard stories of babies literally “ being ripped from their Mother’s breast” what kind of Mother drags her infant child across Mexico to illegally immigrate to America???? We need to send the message loud and clear, do not come, do not bring your children, you do not qualify as an asylum seeker, the only option is to use the legal immigration process.

Their Leftist masters told them to bust the border WITH the kids so that they can have the issue to agitate.
It's a set-up. They are using the kids as pawns and political footballs on purpose, which is sad because they don't even play chess or football.

Also who the frick attempts to nurse a child while scaling a fence or swimming across a river? Seems impractical and dangerous.

The whole separating parents and kids is not a new thing, Obama Admin did it as well. This admin ended catch and release and is actually prosecuting the illegals whem caught. DHS is required to make sure the minor child is not being abused and actually belongs to the adult.
These people are crossing the border illegally between official ports of entry. They can seek asylum at an official port of entry. Their problem with that is they do not actually qualify under International Law. They must claim they're being persecuted by their Govt. Which is not happening so they claim fear from gangs, domestic abuse- spousal abuse etc.. Which the previous Admin allowed but this Admin knows it is a ruse, and decided to follow the actual laws. Plus, they are supposed to seek asylum in Mexico first, it adjoins their country. Mexico doesnt accept but allows them to pass through to the USA. Then helps them cross the border and then denies the deportation back.
I feel sorry for the kids and have empathy for their situation but we have a process for immigration and it must be followed. If they choose to break those laws then it is on them for getting separated when theyre arrested.
Immigration has been a clusterduxk for many years. Need to get the wall up and secure the borders. It will get worse before it gets better unfortunately.

Your post is wrong on two fronts.
First, crossing the border the first time is a misdemeanor. Reentering after being deported is a felony. Both are crimes.
Second, all of these refugees from Central America may very well have been fleeing danger in their home country. But as soon as they crossed the border into Mexico, they had succeeded in escaping. When they continue north to the US border, they become migrants, not refugees. The only reasons to continue on to the United States are economic, or to reunite with family here.
If it's just about requesting asylum, they can stay in Mexico and request asylum there.

Right you are Bamagrad. Last year of Bush 5k received asylum, under obama 90K, obviously the ngos supporting illegals, got the memo and the wink from the administration.

I still want him to show us the link to where it is legal for illegals to cross the border if they seek asylum. If that were the case then there would be no such thing as illegal border crossings. Because every single person would request asylum therefore would be here legally.
