In all seriousness that was the single worst decision ever. What a plague it has been all so we could industrialize our farms. It would be like putting gas in your car that gives you better fuel economy, but the kicker is that the electrical system self destructs, the windshield disappears when rain hits it, if you go over 35 your tires blow up. Sure you get better fuel economy, but at what cost.

Which slaves? The Irish, Scottish? How about the Chinese? Maybe you meant the other ones in servitude to the the democrats? Maybe you just meant that at one point or another all people were slaves of others and therefore we are all now free

Well the NFL wouldn’t be quite as fun to watch but we’d all still be able to go to sleep without locking our doors and we’d still have decent public schools, real estate opportunities, and literally half the murder that is observed across this country.
If we could only push a button to go back in time and remove that entire event modern America would be 100x stronger today.

The painting depicts the Rockies and westward expansion. Those territories/states were always free, and settlers were choosing to build their lives in free territories. Take your bleeding arse elsewhere.
