This would be wild and actually kind of smart.
A pardon comes with the built in premise of guilt but would take away the fuel that prosecuting Trump would bring.

Just curious and thinking out loud here. How would Potato be able to issue a preemptive pardon to Trump as Trump has been a civilian for 18 months and all these alleged classified docs have been in his civilian residence possession for 18 months. I think the whole fiasco is bullshite either way.

That shite only works if you get a conviction. And that is a tall order even with the DC courts handling things given the shite case involved.
