Bill Clinton should have absolutely been convicted. Almost nobody could do what he did and still keep their job. Yet no democrats were willing to break from party line and do the right thing. Those same exact democrats today were screaming about Republicans not breaking party lines to convict Trump on two complete bs impeachments

Especially the way democrats treated Clarence Thomas at the time. What Clinton did was 100x worse than anything Clarence was accused of, but when the attention turned to Clinton they claimed witch hunt! It was the fastest quickest blatant hypocrisy I have ever seen.

FWIW, I’ve read the exact same thing about Chelsea Hubbell. It’s common knowledge but it was a bit too much to use politically. I think that was the right call, personally. I’m not sure it would be today.
