Let us pray they continue to run an anti-American exceptionalism pro-socialist agenda.

Trump will ride that red wave like Johnny Tsunami.

I always find it odd that rich liberals bemoan the existence of the very country that allowed them to enjoy their wealth. I guess when you're that rich, you just have no concept of reality.

Nope. They Southern Italian, but ain't Sicilian.
quote:

Cuomo was born in the Briarwood section of the New York City borough of Queens to a family of Italian origin.[1] His father, Andrea Cuomo,[1] was from Nocera Inferiore (Campania), and his mother, Immacolata[1] (née Giordano), was from Tramonti, Campania.[5] The family owned a store in South Jamaica, Queens, in New York City.

Campania is not in Sicily.

You're correct on the douchebag part, though.

I love how they say this country is so horrible, yet they want to bring in as many 3rd world shithole people as possible. If this country is so bad, wouldn't they discourage people from coming here?

Oh, you know exactly why they do it.

As to the other point of these rich proggies bashing the country:

Serious question: what has this guy done before his political life to become wealthy? Is he just another thief that got rich off of stealing from the tax payers (ironically not the group that votes for him).

I didn't ask you to post a link, dolt. You see, If I posted the full quote, I obviously already had the link. You see how that works?

I just commented on how you posted a half quote and then deliberately didn't post a link that had full quote.

There is absolutely ZERO the man could have said beyond those words that would make even a ounce of sense to me.

I bet that shite sounded good in his head prior to the speech.

America wasn't great for black people who were enslaved and discriminated.

Period.

America is great, it can be greater

We’re not going to make America great again; it was never that great,” Cuomo said, drawing audible gasps, apparently out of surprise, and some applause. “We have not reached greatness. We will reach greatness when every American is fully engaged.”

Not sure the full quote makes it any better baw.

Had to double check

quote:

Cuomo was born in the Queens borough of New York City,[1] the elder son born to lawyer and later governor of New York, Mario Cuomo and Matilda (née Raffa).[2] His parents were both of Italian descent; his paternal grandparents were from Nocera Inferiore and Tramonti in South Italy, while his maternal grandparents were both from Sicily (his grandfather from Messina).[2][3] His younger brother, Chris Cuomo, is a CNN journalist.[

Posting a half quote without a link. Really weak.

Not really. He's going to have a hard time walking this part back:
quote:

it was never that great,

If he'd said, 'we've not yet reached the limit of our greatness' or something like that, he'd probably be ok. But to deny that America has already achieved greatness is to deserve the kick in the nuts he's going to rightfully get.

That's the beauty of the slogan.

The two ways to counter it are to say America was never great. Or to say America is still great.

The former pisses off people who worked hard to protect and grow their country. The latter pisses off people who have seen globalist policies decimate their livelihoods.

Black people are not alone. The Irish had it worse but you dont see them clinging to that history.
