Exactly. I hate Russia and have always hated them. Sending troops to WWII has nothing to do with "greatness".

Wait... what? It most certainly does in the context of WHY we sent troops there. The Russians had this little ordeal called Operation Barbarossa back in ‘41 which cost them millions of lives. They were there to settle a score.

The U.S. meanwhile had no real obligation to send troops into Europe. The Russians had, after all, pushed the Germans almost entirely out of Russian territory by June of ‘44 and had almost entirely destroyed German Army Group South. The allies also knew the Russians were weeks away from launching Operation Bagration which would further destroy Army Group Center, retake Warsaw and put them within range of Berlin.

We went to preserve and reinstate the democracies of Western Europe which has everything to do with greatness.

That's a great narrative for you to believe, but it's mostly just rah rah nonsense. The US entered the war well after it knew of Hitler's atrocities. And FDR knew there was much to gain. If you've read any of Churchill's biographies, then you know just how much we ground out of the UK and other Allies during "negotiations". It was just as self-interested as any other country doing any other action. I'm not saying that's wrong, I'm just saying we should stop pretending it was something it wasn't. WWII ended the British empire and put the US first. And that wasn't an accident.

Asking for facts to support blanket statements of systemic bias is “pushy”? Man, the hoops y’all jump through to avoid backing up your claims with anything other than “gut feelings” and emotions.

It really is pathetic. Why are you a science denier? That’s a term y’all like to throw around. It fits you and texridder well
