Fall is a great time of year. For most of my adult life I put the breaks on anything else because of the college football schedule.

Well, that was a mistake that I will not make again. I’ll be doing some adventures I put off instead.

I enjoyed seeing Saban wagged by the dog

Your mistake is thinking HE was being wagged by the dog. There's a reason why Saban has been successful as he has. He can read the tea leaves and he knows what players are thinking - high school players in particular. Yesterday's display of unity was all about recruiting and nothing more. If he can lock in one or two additional five stars for the upcoming class thanks to yesterday, all will be forgiven as far as I'm concerned.

That was seriously cringe worthy... I don't know if it was the SJW BLM march that made me cringe or Lord Saban leading all the good little black players around in a march so he can get back to practice...

I can hear CNS now "aight, come on guys, stay in line... Trayshonavarious we stop at STOP signs... Nicrolusbrauxs stay off the grass aight!..."

I sure miss the days you could watch sports as an escape from politics and real life issues.

Without this sports are dead to me..

Nope. Don’t want them to stop playing. It’s a free country. You leftists should really know what cancel culture is by now.

Not watching is not cancel culture.

Cancel culture is when you people get mad about something and call the person’s employer and demand they are fired.

I'm ready to see one school and coach have the balls to tell this to piss off. MAGA players only. All races, religions, economics etc. be damned. If you love American and words don't hurt you, come here and whip arse. Who's gonna have the nuts to step up?

Wow...it would take a man of extraordinary metal to stand up and do this. But it can't happen; he would get the 'Mike Flynn' treatment within a week. And the State University which is the Coach's Boss, would never allow that anyway; it would have to come from a Private Institution. And said College would get sued out the wazoo...if not burned to the ground while Civil LE stood and protected the 'protestors'.

It's insane, and will blow after the election. The Book "The Fourth Turning" documents the cyclical aspect of social culture, politics societal dysfunction as the cycles turn.

Krauthammer was right..."if we get out Politics wrong, it all goes bad from there".

I’m with you. These football players have lived charmed lives since they were little boys. They have no clue the struggles that a regular student goes through in an attempt to get an actual education with a view toward getting a career.

I’m done with it.

Sports are entertainment. Fail to entertain me and I’ll find something else.

Sports mixed with Marxist BS is not entertaining. I can’t believe that they are so tone deaf.

Well, maybe God is trying to bring us back to our senses by dethroning these knuckleheads. Their words and deeds certainly fail to meet a noble standard.

Probably closer to zero because everyone knows us BAMA fans only put racism on a higher level than being rednecks and fricking sisters...

The more appropriate idiom is probably, whistling past the graveyard, if that’s his thought process here.

Eh... I think Saban honestly went ahead and did this to get it out of the way but I also think he made a huge mistake doing it and it will not pay the dividends that he expects...

I think anyone that bows down to something like this is making a mistake...

This is the moment when the south places greater emphasis on intellectual achievement than athletics.

Yep! frick football this year. I’m glad I went out on top as a fan in 2019 because I really think I’m golfing more this season. I don’t want politics shoved in my face from Tiger Stadium. Football is my down time away from the bullshite of the world. I’m finding a new down time this year.

frick football now.

We finally have something in common! I've been done with Alabama football since the day I was born!

I don't even mind that it took you to embrace cancel culture to xome to the light.

Go Tigers!
