If he is going to fire Mueller, he should do it sooner rather than later. A manafort not guilty verdict, which is unlikely, (or mistrial) but may happen is perfect cover IMHO. And doing it in august is a must, as the house is on recess.

Trump is going to allow Mueller to fall flat on his face. He will not save Mueller by firing him.
