Ralph Abraham would have been our best option. Too bad too many of us fell for Rispone (myself included), and then of course the Republicans for JBE.

Louisiana's state GOP can't stop stepping on their own dick. The only southern state with a democrat governor = a southern state with a grossly inept republican party.

The only way the Louisiana republicans can make headway is to get rid of these absolute and complete morons who put your campaign contributions in their boat's gas tank every weekend:

^^^This x1000

JBE is not the idiot. It's the asshats that voted for him!

And for those who believe JBE wouldn't have emptied the plantation to defeat Abraham also, well join the rest of the idiots!

Maybe, Louisiana is not as red as many think? Every metro city in the state is ALL blue. Suburbs used to dominate the conservative vote but suburban white women are cucking their husbands at an alarming rate.

That should have been enough to win in Louisiana... but... there you go.

Blacks would have been much more successful of course. They were under Trump and would have been under Rispone. They have gone back to the plantations where white Biden voters think they belong

I got back from the liberal utopia of Austin last week and even they are beyond the masking...

We'd be 10x better under a potato governor than we are with JBE

Rispone and his big shot buddy in Baton Rouge, The King Maker, shite on Ralph Abraham who probably could have won in a run off.

In turn, much of Abraham's support went to JBE.

As one poster said, the R Party in LA is just as corrupt as the D Party. Maybe more so. They are only worried about them and their's. Not about common folks like us.

No question about it.

Louisiana…one of the few places that re-elects proven incompetence on a regular basis.

Was Rispone not also pro-life?

I'm not defending Edwards as he's not great but Rispone ran a campaign on the single fact that Trump supports him. He gave no indication to anyone in the general public that he had any plan or idea of what he would do in office. Every speech and commercial was a smear towards Edwards with a finale of Rispone saying he loves Trump and Trump loves him.

This here deserves hundreds of upvotes. Cold, hard fact.

True, he should have added that he is not JBE, the slimy cocksucker, and it would have probably been enough to win.

Most women I know are conservatives. Meanwhile my parents were Democrats until the late 90s.
