I had a Christian last week tell me he wanted to replace the 1st amendment of the constitution with a declaration that Christ is King.
Should I also judge every Christian based on this?

States ban any number of things to keep its citizens safe…. Drinking and Driving, Drugs, Prostitution, etc…
Islam is more dangerous than all of those things combined yet lefty politicians invite them in with open arms.
These animals and their religion is not compatible with free thinking people.

Does Jesus want every American to lose their constitutional rights?
I don't think so.
Jesus also doesn't want holy war declared in his name, or his followers to go on a killing rampage across the free world.

Historically I would likely be tortured until I gave a fake confession and then burned to death.
I think I'd take having my head cut off if I had to decide between the 2.

Yes I agree completely, which is why I would never in a million years take what the person said and apply it to all Christians.
But I also don't do the same thing with other groups either. And I don't think every Christians supports slavery even though the bible does.

Indeed. We are talking about the opinion of one person in your example.
But regarding Jihadi Muslims, we are talking about a multinational army.
Who openly declare it's their mission to kill those who don't adopt their cult, and their ways.
From your following post, I can see that you're capable of seeing the harm that the zealots of a religion can be capable of.
There ARE peaceful Muslims. But their Book has too much room for violent and genocidal interpretations. The Jihadists have to be dealt with. The peaceful ones can go where their faith won't do harm to others.

I believe there could be a constitutionally acceptable order banning Islam in the US. Sound crazy I know with freedom of religion but there might be a way.
The policy would be based on human right islam and the history of Islamic run nations banning the practice of other faiths. This runs afoul of US freedom of religion and human rights. Islam and US/western civilization does not align in any form at this time.
A policy that bars the building of any Islamic worship center or congregation in the US should be legal as a national security order. The order would be in place until Islamic states allow other religion to be practiced and the provide all people with their human rights.
The basis of this order is that no religion can organize practice in the US that does not provide the same ability to organize practice all other faiths in Islamic governed countries. No religion should be recognized by the US tax code that bases it's existence on the basis of discriminating against and eliminating all other faiths.
We should be able to properly write a legal order that would withstand challenge. Individual can practice Muslim faith, they just cannot organize as a group until Islamic states allow peaceful and open worship of other faiths.

He was dead serious and it happened on this forum.
I was shocked by it. Especially when he tried to claim it wasn't taking away or changing the first amendment, it was "clarifying" it. I ended up debating him over many pages about it.
It was a reminder to me that extremists exist in many forms. It was also a reminder that evil people are dangerous because they do not see themselves as evil. He saw and see's nothing wrong it.
