My area has a problem with illegal aliens. It's a safe bet that most if not all of them aren't here legally.
The migrant workers are kept close tabs on by their employers and don't usually have very free rein.

Well you fricking idiot, the crime rate by home grown people could be going down while the illegal crime rate is skyrocketing and the OVERALL crime rate could drop because thankfully the illegals are still a relatively small percentage of the population.
