Looks like rapes have trended upwardly. As have homicides and attacks on law enforcement.
Fraud/theft through the roof. Nor violent but detrimental crime.

It would depend on the area. If you receive a lot of h1bs in your area the crime rate will probably go down.
They would commit less crimes but add numbers to your population.
On the flip side, drop 10k Somalians in a city with low crime and your crime will go up.
And every illegal has committed a crime. Thats not usually in the Cato institutes stats.
The largest gangs are the Latin gangs. If immigration isn’t a problem then why have the Latin gangs surpassed all gangs in numbers? Remember, if an anchor baby joins the Latin kings, he goes under native born crime stats, but the deeper issue was the illegal immigration that got his mother here.
The left likes to point out immigrants commit violent crimes at a less rate than native born. But if you then dissect the native born stats and point out blacks commit violent crimes at a high rate, stats become racist.
They are also saying I’m comfortable with the amount of rape and murder that does come in. Just don’t enforce immigration law.
