No but if the identity of the pilot was perceived by the media to be a political "win" for the left, it wouldn't matter what the family or the CIC wanted. We'd already know.

If the pilot happened to be at J6 and manage to not get thrown in a hole we would damn sure know everything there was to know.

I think the big tell here is the DEI spectacle Trump made yesterday.
On one hand, does he react this way if the briefing on the crash didnt make his blood boil? Maybe.
On the other hand, if this pilot is in fact a competent, trained, experienced female, does the media leak the name just to make Trump look like an absolute a-hole? 100%

2 of the 3 bodies have not been recovered from the Potomac River, much less identified by the family.
I will respect grief and that some families don't want their phones blowing up and door knocked upon by reporters.
Others want the life and bio of their loved one out there. to aid grief.
It isn't Jo whatshername. We know it is a female, but the army suddenly says 'soldier'

People have been respectful and not leaked it because they were waiting on the army. Now that the army has officially come out and said they won’t do it yet because the family doesn’t want it, I expect someone to leak it. If it is someone competent and impressive it will be leaked to left wing corporate media to make Trump look bad (in all likelihood would have already happened if this were the case), if it’s some DEI embarrassment, some right wing influencer will probably be given the exclusive. Would be surprised if it isn’t known by tomorrow.

Army fricked this one up big time. SECDEF should come over the top and make them adhere to standard protocol for release.
Now it will just leak today from someone else and they'll have to answer to why they made an exception to the release of public info.

We're over the 24...the Army decided to make an exception today which is insane. Does nothing but feed all the conspiracy theories.
