Iran is running out of money. It can’t pay its military which means funds are no longer flowing to Hamas and Lebanon.
Contrary to popular belief, Iran does not have complete control of the Strait. They are no longer being allowed to hold companies hostage for safe passage.

Just fly all the IRGC members and their families to Spain. They can never return to a free Iran. Win win. Spain has an open door policy and the rest of Europe gets enriched.

Another rerun...Will they run out of money before the midterms? No. They don't care how many of their people suffer. They are far better at playing the long game. They don't value life like we do. They think they're fricking martyrs with virgins waiting for them.
Nothing would please me more than to see Iran bend the knee. If Trump would stop talking and mange this conflict like a president should rather thana WWE wrestler people wouldn't be getting so annoyed. Trump keeps telling us Iran wants a deal so badly and yet they keep shooting at various sites. He needs to STFU until real progreess is made

I guess it might be a good idea to look at various instances throughout history of “regimes,” be they monarchy, etc, with an eye towards some of those instances of the regime pushing their starved and desperate people a little too far.

Sure, they can dig up a couple missiles per week to feed the OMB narrative. But it is peanuts.

This is getting very tiring. How many times do you have to hit your head against a brick wall before you learn it’s hard? These fricks will be firing missiles as they sign a document.

So it took a few tries as leadership over there is sketchy and changes weekly. Its a chaotic ship over there and no one really is in control. Its dying. There simply is no money flowing into the country.
Our military is pin point with ability to strike, and these targets have slowly cut off blood flow to the brain. Death by a thousand cuts takes a bit, bit once it starts, really isn't be reversed
My guess is soon enough, a deal will be signed. Once done, we'll offer some sort of recovery aide, under the demands certain elements are disbanded and leadership is ousted.

A coordinated Debbie Downer operation? Interesting concept, but no. Just a dose of reality. Plus I don’t think I’ve disturbed a gathering of Positive Petes here or anything. It’s a Trump bashing session, not exactly hopeful and optimistic there.

I am disillusioned with the notion that the regime is all that unpopular, at least to the degree that the people want complete regime change. While people cite the protestor numbers from January, the amount of people at Khamenei's funeral has made me completely skeptical that a government which is majoritarian at its core does not have much more support than we think.

It is like watching a Hallmark channel Christmas movie with the same plot and storyline, just a new set of characters.
Trump announces deal. Hours later Israel or Iran bombs the crap out of each other and ceasefire is over. A day or two passes another ceasefire is announced and the bombs start flying again from either side. Rinse and repeat over and over again.

i think the pentagon has been holding back information that the iranian missiles have been very accurate and have caused great damage to american bases in the middle east. we haven't been able to stop them. if we started a new bombing campaign then we (including israel) would be hit hard. i don't think saudi arabia wanted that either. maybe we should have spent out defense money on hypersonic missiles instead of carriers and f35's.
